Operation: Risk Factor 2019
August 31, 2019
The Den's land domination MilSim series continues.
30 years have passed since the collapse of the Soviet Union or U.S.S.R. It is now 2019. After months of political and societal unrest, the country of Ukraine, has now fallen as well. Economic hardship and lack of representation pushed citizens to revolt against the government. As the government toppled, so did all law and order. Citizens began to flea Ukraine as refugees to the neighboring countries of Romania, Moldova and Poland in hopes of finding asylum there. Various political/religious factions are now competing for power, filing what is left of the country with conflict. The UN has declared an international crisis in Ukraine as the unrest has ignited the de-stablization of Eastern Europe. Multiple UN countries have deployed troops to Ukraine in order to restore some sort of stability until a new government can be established. But the strongest political faction left after the collapse, known as the UFR, (Ukrainian Free Republic) has vowed to oppose the UN "occupation" at whatever cost. Now both the UN troops and the UFR race to secure vast amounts of Ukraine that have been left vacant by it's fleeing citizens. The city of Sukachi is 25 miles south of Chernobyl. Not only is it a highway for the smuggling of various radioactive material, it is also the home of a very important oil refinery for northern Ukraine. As the UFR and UN troops converge on the area surrounding Sukachi, tensions rise as both armies seek to gain control of key points within the empty city and countryside.
The UN will include all tan patterns (such as multicam and desert camouflage), while the UFR will include ALL other patterns and colors. Color bands may be used to balance teams if necessary.
